Hoovers started at Craig Beach (Lake Milton, Ohio) with a penny arcade, shooting gallery, photo gallery and a fudge stand.  Hoovers is a family built, owned and operated business that has been around since 1950.  It all started with Donald and Patty Hoover helping their Aunt with her concession stand at the first Clark County Fair.  The following year they went on to work in Zainesville at the Muskingham County Fair.  Don and Pat have been off and running from that point forth.  It has been over 55 years that Donald, Patty and family have worked the majority of the fairs and festivals in Ohio, Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia, with an event or two in Michigan.  We started out making and selling our fudge with not much more than a small copper kettle.  Four generations later we have 35 handcrafted trailers that the Hoover family uses to produce and bring our items to you, all from our headquarters in Canfield, Ohio.  Thus, becoming one of the largest, truly family built, owned and operated businesses in the showman circuit today.
